What is the EOC?

The umbrella body for Europe’s 50 National Olympic Committees. The EOC is committed to spreading the Olympic values and inspiring sport and healthy lifestyles across Europe.

We do so by supporting grassroots activities and through the delivery of elite sporting events such as the European Games, the European Youth Olympic Festival and the Games of the Small States of Europe.

What we do

Our mission is to raise the profile of Olympic sport in Europe by guiding and supporting the activities of the 50 NOCs and working closely with European Federations (EFs), government agencies, athletes and organising committees. We work to protect Europe’s leading role at the heart of global sport and ensure the success and celebration of our events – the European Games, EYOFs and Games of the Small States of Europe. The EOC assists athletes and coaches in their pursuit of excellence in international competitions, and inspires people of all ages to lead healthy lifestyles while encouraging participation in sports.
